The reserve vault is the second set of everything, held where the first set cannot get to it. Nine lines cover workstations, servers, virtual guests, the tenants almost nobody duplicates, and the tested restore that turns the arrangement from a belief into a fact.
Microsoft and Google will keep your tenant reachable. Neither of them is keeping anything on your behalf against your own errors, and a deleted items folder is not a backup in any sense an auditor accepts. Remove a user, empty a site, or lose a mailbox to whoever now knows the password, and the contents leave with it.
So tenants get lines of their own. Cove looks after the Microsoft side. Dropsuite looks after Google Workspace, the Entra directory settings from which every permission in the firm descends, and the QuickBooks Online ledger that runs the money.
Workstations, physical servers and hypervisor guests each take a line, because recovering each of them is different work and pretending otherwise puts a lie on the invoice. Working file history sits beside them for the ordinary case, which is one spoiled document and not one catastrophe.
Then verification. It is the line most often declined and most often regretted, because it converts a timetable that appears to be running into a dated record of a restore that genuinely completed.
Figures on this page come from billing at the moment it opens. Anything you add rests on your manifest, and stays put while you read.
Frequent versions of whatever documents somebody is editing right now, so a ruined afternoon gets answered with an earlier draft and not with a full machine rebuild.

Microsoft will keep your tenant switched on. Holding a copy of the contents against your own mistakes is a separate duty, and that duty belongs to you. It lands in storage you never had to purchase.

Nobody thinks about copying the books until a figure vanishes out of them. This duplicates the company file held in QuickBooks Online and keeps that duplicate apart from the account which owns it.
